dave visited me almost everyday in my new store on main st in clinton nj. he always got a cup of coffee and let me keep the change. last i heard he bought a house in nazareth, and then he stopped coming in. i was so sorry to hear he passed away! He was such a nice guy! always giving me good solid advice about my business...
My grandfather was a great, admirable man. He has built and sold many houses in Hunterdon County over the years. He was a fine carpenter and craftsman, refinishing furniture my grandma would buy at the flea market to be sold at the Paddy-Wak. That store was his life. He once asked me, you know whose perfect? I replied God. He shook his head and quietly said, grandma. They are together again, the way it should be. I love you grandpa, you will be dearly missed.
Davey was a very kind man. I loved when he would call me to see how I was doing. He knew me for my entire life and was a very good friend. I admired how he enjoyed life and was so proud of his family. I will miss him very much, I have very fond memories of Davey and his wife Elaine. They were like family to me. May he rest in peace and be together with his wife again and say hi to my mom in heaven.
Uncle Dave was very special to me and the whole family. He was much more than an uncle to me. We became closer in the last four years than we had been in a long time. I'll always be grateful for that. The world has lost a good man, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend. I love you Uncle Dave and will treasure you always.
