Obituary of David Gonzalez

David Gonzalez, age 74, of Alexandria Twp., NJ died Friday, March 11, 2011 at his son's home in Nazareth, PA. David was born June 26, 1936 in New York City, NY. He was the son of the late Peter and the late Inez Gonzalez. He lived in Alexandria Twp. for the past 15 years and was previously from High Bridge. Mr. Gonzalez was a carpenter for Local Union 455, working for 50 years before retiring. He was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. He also served in the NJ Army National Guard. He was a devoted father and family man. He is survived by his beloved son, David Gonzalez, daughter-in-law, Theresa Gonzalez and his loving granddaughter, Theresa R. Gonzalez. He also leaves behind his cherished dog, Little Girl. His beloved wife Elaine pre-deceased him in 2007. The Visitation will take place Thursday, March 17th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. There will be a Funeral Service held at the funeral home at 12:00 noon following the visitation. The Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Halstead St. in Clinton, NJ. following the funeral service.
