2022. It’s been a few years since Al’s passing. For whatever reason I had a need to check on him about a week ago and was heartbroken to learn of his death. Al and I were very good friends in school in Bergenfield. I was with him when he learned of his father’s death. We both loved British sport cars. He had an MG and I had an Austin Healey - his was in far better condition. We joined the Army together and then life took us in separate directions, as life seems to do. I just wanted to reach out and say that I am very sorry he is no longer with us. He was a great guy and I remember us debating the Hundred Years’ War while riding in cars to upstate NY. I’ll miss him.
