I came to know the Newton family when I was asked to help care for Judy's mother. Judy was always smiling and had such a peace about her. Judy would walk around her house singing with that smile and it just lifted my spirits when I was having a bad day. She was always willing to help others. . She has been an inspiration to me. Judy will be missed by many. Prayers being sent up to our Lord for Clint and family at this time for comfort and strength. May your memories of Judy help you get through this difficult time.

Judy was a ray of sunshine. My first day at Grace UCC she made me feel instantly welcome. She was someone I always aspired to be like, she had a serenity and a joy that made everyone around her feel at ease.

Judy, her brothers Charlie & George, all grew-up together in the Arbor section of Piscataway on 5th St. My Mom & Dad, Libby & Tony, were always close to the family of Elsie & George Clark. . .Judy was "The Big Sister" to me! Thank you for all that we shared! Life As We Know It.

It was 1970 something and I was in the back of an ambulance with my Mother. I was maybe 16 at the time and we had been called to home where a woman was about to give birth. When we arrived at the house, the woman walked to the ambulance with a suitcase in hand. "Ok, this is a 'taxi' ride" the driver said. Mom, got her on the stretcher and we loaded her into the rig. We took a few minutes to do an assessment and vitals and headed for HMC. Her contractions were close together. We stopped at the end of the block because it was apparent that delivery was imminent. As I looked over her shoulder, my Mother calmly and confidently assisted the mother in delivering a beautiful baby girl. I received for my part a coveted stork pin. But my real gift that day was sharing the miracle of birth with the same dear woman who gave birth to me.
I had many memorable moments on the squad, both great and terrifying. It was this moment that will always stand in my memory as the most dear of all, because I got to share it with my Mother.

As much as she was an inspiration, Judy will be missed. Her zest and pursuit for life and faith were awesome. Judy, Clint and the Newton clan are in our prayers.

Judy was such an inspiration to all, never complaining, always with a smile on her face. She will be missed by so many, especially her family at Grace UCC. Judy left us all here exactly 2 months after my husband. I can imagine Judy and Manny having a wonderful time rejoicing together that they are now at peace with our Lord and Savior! Love to you Clint and family.

I will always remember your beautiful smile that never left your face. Your soul of beauty shone through your eyes even on the darkest, dreariest, coldest of days. The room would insantly light up upon your entrance. Your laughter sang with your eyes. Thank you GOD for putting Judy in my life to help me smile through the hard times.
