Obituary of Gerry Magaleski

Gerry Magaleski, 60, passed away on Friday February 10, 2023. Gerry was born on July 28, 1962, in Phillipsburg, NJ and was the son of the late Gerald Magaleski and Regina (Wozinski) Magaleski. 

Gerry was a graduate of North Hunterdon High School and a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, NY. Gerry was a traveler and his career as a professional pastry chef allowed him the ability to work in many beautiful locations throughout the US.

Gerry enjoyed seeing Broadway shows in New York City, traveling abroad and watching sports. He was a big fan of his local sports teams, the Colorado Rockies when he lived in Colorado and the Cubs and Bears when he lived in Chicago. He was the best uncle to his nieces and nephews. He loved baking and spending time with them.

He is survived by his mother, Regina Magaleski; sister Karen Mazerolle and her husband David; brother, Kevin Magaleski and his wife Kathi and sister, Debbie Orrico and her husband David; nieces Caitlyn, Alyssa, Rachel, Abbigayle and nephew, Michael.

Gerry was predeceased by his father Gerald E. Magaleski in 2020 and nephew, Matthew Magaleski in 2019.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale NJ, 08801. Cremation will follow mass privately.
