To say that Scott was my earliest friend is an understatement. I grew up playing baseball behind the A&P with Scott and my brothers. We would play all day, until someone fouled the ball into the pool, then swim for hours. I called his phone number so much that it is still imbedded in my brain all these years later. Through the years, I always asked about Scott when I saw his father and was always happy for what he accomplished. I remember one of the saddest days of my young life learning that he was moving. I feel that same sadness now. God Bless you Scott, and my deepest condolences to all in the Thomson family.

Ever since I was a little guy, Uncle Scott was always the most caring uncle someone could ask for. This never changed as I got older. I will cherish the memories I have with Uncle Scott at the many family get togethers we had and our most recent trip to Disney. He cared so much about the people in his life. I will miss him very much. Love you Uncle Scott!!

I have wonderful memories of Scott and his family through my childhood and Crossroads years. Scott was quiet, always had a smile and who was nice to everyone, all of the time. I had the priveledge of running into him in Clinton in February while visiting a friend which was such a blessing considering we lived in different states. I am so sorry and my heart goes out to his wonderful family for their loss...(which is Heavens gain). We are blessed to know that one day we will meet again.

I will remember Scott as a person who really cared about the people in his life. He was always there at my family's graduations, weddings, and other events. He also stayed close and went to the movies with my mom, despite them living far from each other. I liked that. Scott was one person that I knew was actually sincere when he asked me how my classes were or how life was. I'm so glad I got to be with him and the family in Disney this summer and I will live my life trying to be as sincere and kind as he always was. Love ya Scott.

The Thomson family is in my thoughts and prayers. I went to grade school with Scott at CCA in Clinton, and have not seen Scott in many years. But I will always remember Scott as one of the most genuine human beings that I have ever. I know he's in HIS hands now and looking down from heaven with that great smile.

My deepest condolences for your loss. Scott had a bright smile on his face every time I had the pleasure of encountering him, which only seem to brighten when he talked about the project he was currently working on in his workshop. He was a pleasure to work with. Please know that all of us in the Department are mourning with you, and he will be missed by co-workers and patients alike.

Scott was my youngest brother, born when I was almost 8 years old. And I was so proud of him!
So many fun memories of him growing up - football and baseball with the neighbors, picnics with mom and dad, dinners at Grandma or Aunt Margaret's house with all our cousins, crazy minibike rides, teaching Scott to swim in our pool. . . was so proud of him when he graduated from med school. Scott- my brother and my friend who I always loved being with- my fellow Yankee fan, conservative, and movie buddy.I Love you Scott and know I will see you in heaven one day. Love, your sister Linda

Just this day learned of Dr. Thomson's passing. He was a member of the Woodnet online community. He was a member since 2003 and posted in several of the woodworking forums over the years. As people contribute they share personal information and someone today noticed the good doctor's passing and pieced the information as our member WoodBrain. We all share your sorry and miss our friend.

Those it has been many years since I have seen Scott, my early years were full of memories of him and my brother playing in the yard and at church. He was quiet and a bit shy, but never once mean to a tomboy who always wanted to play the games her older brother played. I know that we see only through human eyes that your passing was entirely too early, but God's plans are perfect, and I know that you are in no pain but in the presence of your Father with everlasting JOY filling your every being! My prayers are with those left behind to grieve, but what a blessing to know we will someday see you again! ~Noelle

I was so happy that my Uncle Scott was at my wedding, although how could I have known it would be the last time I would see him on this earth. He was such a wonderful uncle. I have so many memories of him and I am also thankful for the wonderful trip to Disney we all took as a family recently. Miss you and love you Uncle Scott! Thankful that you have no pain and are complete in Heaven now! :)

My memories span the years from the earliest days to the last week of his life. In his younger years, he endured the verbal torment a brother six years his senior would typically give, and from teen years on he endured in the face of his diabetes. He achieved beyond expectations, yet his life came to too early an end.
My family and I will miss him, as he was a regular at our dinner table.
Out hope is in the Lord. We put our trust in God.
