Gen Pollizotti ~ my neighbor, my big sister, my mentor, my friend. For 15 years you were my “Wilson” on the other side of the fence, sharing in my joy and sorrow. Your giving, caring nature enabled you to play a special role in the lives of many, and we are grateful. All of your friends considered you their best friend/soul sista because you made us feel special with your God given compassion and wisdom beyond your years.
On that sunny afternoon as we sat on your front porch and you asked to see my quilting project, I knew this would be the next great passion in your life, which as in all things artistic you mastered, opening a beautiful chapter in the lives of the Golden Girls and Court House Quilters alike.
I will miss spontaneous afternoon adventures hunting down unique flower species; cucumber lunches; late night Whist matches with Dick and Pat (get ‘em partner); the next “new” restaurant; hot tub spa moments; intimate New Year's Eve Parties; Dixie saying “Good night Dick”, but most of all I will miss my compassionate best friend.
Love you Gen. Hope to see you again soon.
