Obituary of Richard W. Marsh

Richard W. Marsh, 61, of Pittstown, NJ, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at St. Luke's University Hospital in Bethlehem, PA. Born in Queens, NY, and raised in Summit, NJ, he graduated from Summit High School in 1973.He was employed by New York Life Insurance Company, Lebanon, NJ for over 40 years prior to retiring in July 2015. He enjoyed working on outdoor projects, and spending time with family pets, including horses, dogs and cats. Richard lived in Pittstown with Marie, his wife of 25 years. Also surviving are stepson Christopher Franklin, wife Lisa and children Steven, Andrew and Jessica of Annandale, NJ; stepson Matthew Franklin, wife Margaret and children Maya, Jack and Kerry of Basking Ridge, NJ; sister Judi Marsh; sister Linda Sechelski, husband Leonard and children Alissa, Ryan and Stephanie; sister Brenda Woolston, husband Bill and son Nicholas; brother Tom Buffa, wife Doreen and son Logan; and sister-in-law Avis Michalowski and son Jesse. Richard is predeceased by his mother Arlene (Strys) Stirn, father Richard Walker Marsh and brother Henry Michalowski. Family and friends are invited to gather from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Friday, December 4, 2015 at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 NJ-31,Clinton, NJ 08801. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, 2 White Bridge Rd., Pittstown, NJ 08867.
